Seal 2009 Soul Tour

British R&B and Soul superstar Seal will be continuing his 2009 Soul Tour in North America with performances in several Canadian and US cities.

Seal’s music career took off in 1991 with the release of his debut album entitled ”Seal” which featured singles ”Killer”, “Crazy”, and “Future Love Paradise”.   Soul is Seal’s sixth studio album Soul was released on 11 November 2008 in the United States.  The album features single “A Change Is Gonna Come” which is a a Sam Cooke cover.

With the March 2009 release of their latest album, “Modern Art”, The Rippingtons are embarking on their latest North American tour–The Rippingtons Modern Art.  Founded in 1986 by Grammy award winning guitarist Russ Freeman, The Rippingtons have been “ripping” their tunes on stages across the world for over 20 years.  Having served as the launching pad for musical greats such as Kenny G, the Rippingons continue to feature a talented and energetic lineup of musicians.  We’ve included the essentials for enjoying The Rippingts, Modern Art, and the upcoming Rippingtons tour.

Q: Why is Kim Stone not on the 2009 Rippingtons Tour?

A:  Per an email from the tour manager, Kim Stone is on haitus for this tour.  For those who have followed the band and Kim Stone, he has been with the band for over 18 years and was a staple.  Like other members who have taken a break over the years, we hope to see him back soon.
