Birth Date: October 16th, 2009

John Mayer started off playing mostly acoustic rock, however starting in 2005 Mayer trended toward blues. The influence of blues was first apparent on his Continuum album which released in September 2006. John won several awards for the continuum album at the 49th Grammy Awards which took place in 2007. In 2009 John Mayer released his 4th album on November 17th, 2009 entitled Battle Studies. The Tour will make a run through Texas in March after a stop in Oklahoma City on the 5th. John Mayer’s tour will be stopping in Houston, Austin, and Dallas before heading to New Orleans. Metallica  2009  Tour

Having won over 15 awards, Metallica is one of the most well known rock bands of our time. This popular band started when member, Lars Ulrich put an advertisement in his local paper. Metallica started off with fast tempos and after gaining a fan base, in their home town California, they started to speed things up into what is nowadays called heavy metal.

Ever since 1990, Metallica has been winning awards left and right including Best Metal Performance, Best Hard Rock Performance, Best Recording Artist and many more. They have had a total of 9 albums which have all had successful hits.

Paramore  2009  Tour

Hayley Williams and the Farro brothers have been together in a band since Hayley was 13. This lovely trio, started as a band called “The Factory”and before long got several more band members and became a national known band called “Paramore”.They all lived in the town of Franklin, Tennessee. Their first song was “Conspiracy”.

Winning a total of 23 awards for their artwork, Paramore has topped charts. Their first award they won was Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards in 2008. Since then they have won Best Rock Video, Best New Artist, Best New Rock Artist, Best Song from a Movie and many more.

The Summer Set  2009 “In Colors” Tour

The Summer Set, like many small bands, started out in their home town of Scottsdale, Arizona  taking turns playing in each others garages. When their debut album “In Colors” landed Itunes on June 24,2008, things changed for this small hometown band.
